I wear black legwarmers because the majority of my tights and unitards are black. I like to keep my knees warm, so mine are thigh-length.It's not a question of what you "should" or "should not" wear. Legwarmers serve a function, just like tights or shoes. Nobody'll ever give you a second glance. As for colors, I've seen guys wear just about anything, even pink..including myself. Like I said, whatever is available.
