Re-read what you wrote: "I just find extreme restrictions tedious and annoying, and ballet has (guess what?!) extreme restrictions."  Everything has restrictions, some extreme, real extreme.  No offense, but maybe you're young and haven't seen this.  I think that's what that guy was saying in his post.  BUT THE POINT to me was to live within those restrictions and make the task work for you.

OBS, why did you say: "Did you actually read my statement?"  That sounds kind of nasty, and I don't think that guy deserved it.  I mean, it was kind of a corney "pep" talk in some ways!  And I usually don't like preachers!  But I think he really was trying to be up about life.  That's good!

Like I said before, it looks like your really down.  What's got you down?  And why take it out on ballet?  (I love ballet and would never call it tedious with extreme restrictions....but then I've learned to make the most of it!)
