Do you guys think that a modern dance performance is all touchy-feely and emotions! No way! That feeling and emotion is put there when it's needed -- none of it's spontaneous. Wait till you work with a few modern dance choreographers! We took our modern dance very seriously, and the wrong person would think that modern is boring and tedious. But that's the nature of doing dance. IF you're going to perform you need to be perfect. Orange guy, ALL dance is work! Don't minimize all the work I did to make my performances seem effortless and filled with emotion when the choreographer allowed it! That's ACTING! and I worked hard to combine that acting with modern. Shit, acting in and doing ballet is easy compared to modern! Answers to this message:
