The urge to dance, however, is very much at odds with the fear of being perceived as wierd, which is frustrating. I feel that my girlfriend and family would be pretty shocked, and I know my friends and workmates would just take the piss, so I'd feel very uneasy about 'coming out' to them. >What have people's experiences been? How have people reacted with you, and how did you deal with it? I'd be interested in anything anyone cares to share. Just do it! You'll always wonder what it was like, and besides, don't miss out on the most wonderful thing you could ever do for yourself. You'll also make new friends that are both supportive and accepting.
