YES - death of the serious male dancer board!

written by BalletMaster  on 06.06. at 03:09:51 - as answer to: death of the serious male dancer board? by Dr. Dancebelt at
YES!  This board is dead.  Someone used my handle, and I'm pissed.  Anyone can post here under any name, but why do they have to use MY handle?

The truth is I'm disgusted!  I believe there are nuts out there (and sure I tried to refer them to more appropriate places in the past).

I'll check in to read what's going on, but I won't believe anyone who posts here, as well as on danceart.com, balletalert.com, dancescape, voiceofdance or whatever.  I don't understand this stuff about "multiple identities" or "whoppers" or whatever.  I just know that the people who post here are ready to kick anyone in the butt as often as the wind changes.

And that's sick.  I've found other sites, not populated by these so called "serious" dancers, where the conversation, though quite "puffed-up," is at least respected for the fun it generates.  The phoneys there acknowledge they are phoneys, but are just having fun.  The phoney "serious" dancers at this site are so sanctimoneous, and never give their e-mail addresses (like Tom and douting Thomas, David from danceart, etc.), that who can believe they are real?

SO, GOODBYE "serious male dancers!"

BalletMaster (the real one, not the Phoney one)

>"We had to destroy the village to save it" >- a famous quote from the Vietnam war>Now that everyone has called everyone else an asshole, it seems we have nothing left to say to each other.  Or did everyone just get pissed-off and quit reading?  Another possibility is that everyone is still lurking, but nobody is willing to write anything because they don't want to be attacked themselves.  >It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt, so let's learn to play nicely with the other children.  That would include no name-calling, no posting under multiple identities, and no making up whoppers.  Writing something that has something to do with male dancers wouldn't hurt either.
