I see this thread, and am concerned.  Many guys start ballet because they think ballet is part of the world that accepts gay males.  The world is really tough, and some people may act friendly towards you but not really mean it.

I'm gay, and went through the early years.  I don't want you to find the same heart-breaks I had.  Please be careful!

You may think you're invincible and won't have these problems.  Please don't fool yourself.  Consider what may happen before you get into any situation.
