Tights are form fitting, and as such, they provide sculptural beauty to those who wear them. Besides ballet, male gymnasts also wear tights or very tight clothing! This is for the same reason we male dancers wear the same--for instructors (or coaches) to see incorrect body mechanics, and for the fans to see the male body as it is. I enjoy wearing tights, as well as other tight clothing. I encourage other men reading this list to "let go" of the frustrating, somewhat taciturn comments I see or hear about. Just keep dancing!
