One of the numbers I dance in takes place in a bar. Tthey came up with these circles of wood that are supposed to look like the tops of those rum barrels and asked us to strap them to our feet. The straps are similar to those on pointe shoes so we decided that's how we'd tie them. >Hey dave!>It took ten years?!! >After about five years in ballet I tried a pointe class. At first I tried the traditional way of trying pointe shoes (The female way), but after about a month of classes, I switched to what was comfortable for me...more like elastic bands than ties.>The truth is that after about six months I was wondering what I was doing in pointe shoes. I had no intentions of joining the Trocks!
