Dancing won't turn you gay, of course, but it will help you meet some great new friends (male and female alike). If your mom can appreciate your TRUE interest in ballet, she'll begin to see beyond the sexual issues. I guess she's only trying to protect you! How do you feel about your friend? Is he the right person to help you back into ballet? >I have asked my mom about doing ballet again and she told me to get it out of my head, I told her about my friend who does it and the first thing she said, is he gay or something, it kind of makes me mad that they can't be more serious about it.
