Your ballerina girlfriend sounds like a wonderful person trying out different things which is very healthy to do. She is probably trying to encourage you to take up Adult Beginner ballet which I strongly suggest you give a try - your girlfriend may be able to get you a disconunt at a local studio or give you private lessons! She knows very well that boys/men are in very short supply in both the theatrical and social dance worlds. May I suggest you talk with her and find out what she has in mind for you. It will make you a better person with the knowledge she has acquired during her training. Do you go to ballet performances with her? Would you like to try some body exercises that will make you look fit without the heavy musculature of the gym? Also Pilates is very good for any person who wants to be physically fit.
