First, I'm primarily an actor -- but a movement-based actor with extensive training in physical theater. So, I know movement. Currently, I'm in a performance for which I will need to wear a dance belt for the first time (according to the costumer). Although I've had some dance training as well, I've never worn a dance belt before. So, here's my question: how does one position his penis within the dance belt. I once heard that there is a very specific way that professional ballet dancers use but never had it explained to me. Any advice? Second, I'm interested in exploring dance more and maybe collaboratively developing a piece about the erotic mystery of male dancers. I'm located in Washington, DC and wondered if there are any dancers in the area interested in maybe getting together to explore this theme. I want to work with other male dancers who are uninhibited, open to erotic energy, and unafraid of nudity (their own or other guy's). We will just improvise and experiment and see what comes of it.
