Not necessary to have it completely recovered -- ice it for 20 min 4 times a day -- but especially before and after you dance -- and always stretch the tendon every morning before you get out of bed.

I am still recovering from Plantar Fascitis, it doesn't hurt a lot any more unless I put all the pressure on the right heel. Should I wait until complete recovery before considering lessons?
