Sorry, been away on vacation.  Just now saw this.  Sorry to say I never danced Apollon.  But I love Balanchine.  It would have been a wonderful fantasy.

I did dance for a Balanchine protoge at the Los Angeles ballet (now defunct) in the late 1970s.

The gods Apollo and Dionysious are often portrayed as opposite poles on teh aesthetic spectrum.  I am old now, but when I dance I like to think myself Apollo.
