Your stories parallel mine so closely, it's almost spooky. Though lately I've been wondering how many of the girls I dated who said they liked me in dancewear truly did...maybe it was the "well, it could be worse" effect! My present girlfriend seems to be okay with my fetish, but I get the distinct feeling that she'd prefer it not to be a factor, if you know what I mean.>>>>However, I once overheard two girls at a rehearsal for "Romeo & Juliet" dishing about how hot we guys looked in our costumes (I say with no modesty whatsoever that one of them seemed to place me pretty high on her list of guys who look good in tights. She just didn't like me personally. Nuts.)       -Depon   >>>I use to wonder what the girls in my ballet classes thought of me when I first started taking lessons.  Six years later, I can tell you with 100% confidence that most girls find a boy's tighted butt and frontal anatomy to be a complete turn-on.  I can tell you I don't get any second looks in a pair of trousers, but get all the attention I want when I don my thong leo and a pair of shimmery nylon tights.  I know you guys can verify this!>>>>>Yeah! I remember one October a few years ago when I took a weekend job selling Hallowe'en costumes. I didn't get to wear actual tights on the job (I was pretty "closeted" at the time), but I'd usually wear a pair of running tights under this devil costume I wore. I worked with a lot of young spanish women who were pretty timid sexually, but there was this one girl who ran her hand over my thighs and butt when she saw me in my costume for the first time, saying that she wanted to know what spandex felt like on someone else...I've just been dredging up memories right and left today!     -Depon  >Another thought on the subject.  When I go to my local dancewear shop, the female clerk is the most friendly person I have ever met.  She always is right there to assist me in my selection of tights, slippers and leotards.  She insists that I try everything on for propoer fit and tells me to let her see when I am dress so she can properly  fit me.  When female patrons come in the store, I notice they do not get the same level of service and she often ignores them until they are ready to make their purchase.  She is a real friend to me now and know she loves it when I come in the store.  Is it me or my state of dress that intrigues her? I believe she just enjoys dressing me and looking...what do you think?

>>>Sure sounds that way to me, Ker! Here's how I see it. Anybody working in a retail environment has to deal with the routine of their job, and a break in that routine is always welcome (unless the salesperson themselves thrive on boredom). A girl (or for that matter a guy) working in dancewear sales spends most of their workday dealing with girls and women. A guy walks in and POW! Instant break in the routine. If the girls hetero (or the guy gay) and the customer's reasonably attractive, that gives the experience a little spice, and if the guy becomes a regular and the two of them get along, (as it seems to be in your case,) well, you're in dancewear-retail Valhalla, aren't you? Congrats!>>>Also, my experience has always seemed to be that older women working dancewear retail (or ladies' hosiery) are more likely to be chilly to us tights-guys, while younger ones tend to be a little more open about it (though exceptions on both sides definitely exist.) All of my best tights-buying experiences have been with salesgirls in their twenties or younger. >>>So good luck with your retail buddy, Kerry! Hope something develops (if that's what the two of you want, that is!) And if it doesn't, at least you've got someone cool to buy dancewear from!        -Depon
