I totally agree that tights worn over a leotard is bad. In my ballet classes any girl who shows up not wearing her black leotard over her ballet pink tights will be askled to leave the studio, and not attend that class. If it happens a second time within one month, she will be dropped from attending anymore classes.

What some people seem to forget is that ballet is all about following a strict discipline. Dressing properly for class is part of the long established discipline of ballet. There is no room in ballet for compromise. It's do it in the traditional way, or leave!!
