Dressing properly for class is part of the long established discipline of ballet. There is no room in ballet for compromise. It's do it in the traditional way, or leave!! You must remeber times chnage and stuf aren;t always being done the traditional way an people do things differently. If you say black and pink is traditional ballet clothes then dance societies (sp) like RAD is not valid because they do not use black and pink only. The girls leotard colours vary according to the grade they are in. Sorry but black and pink might have been the tradition but I think not today anymore. I perosnaly like the black and pink combination but do not think it is the tradition for today. I do not like a class where mixed colours are aloud I prefer all students must wear the same, it looks nice but it do not have to be black. When it comes to tights I prefer the pink tio black under leo aswell. Just my opinion. Answers to this message:
