Reply - good for you!  There is never enough male dancers that's for sure.  We'll you are half the way there.  While I don't know of a dance school in your area, I am sure there are lots.  I looked in our telephone book and now take ballet at 3 different schools.  Well I know that method is sort of of catch as catch can --- but--- you get to view different styles of teaching and select one that is best for you.  You also get to meet a lot of different teachers.  You can also see which students you want to work with - and which ones you don't.

You may want to check out discountdance.com for tights. They have a men's section.  I understand some men really like tights, others feel self-conscious at first.  I know that one of the guys in my class wears bike shorts.  They are flexible but provide coverage and support.  Running tights might also be another option.  I know I like to wear them when I go kayaking - you get freedom of movement, and at the same time, feel like you are wearing something and not running around with your bum hanging out.

Write me and keep me posted on your progress.  Good luck and enjoy!

Ann
