I've been dancing for years in footless tights and slippers. Never had no problem with eczema. I did pick up a nasty case of toenail fungus from the men's dressing room floor, though. That's a special situation, and I really wouldn't consider it the equivalent of dancing barefoot. Your best bet is to consult your fellow (and sister) modern dancers about any precautions.
