Sizing a dancebelt can be a problem.  I have been wearing the Capezio "cofort" dancebelt, which has a wider thong buttstrap.  I buy them from www.adadancewear.com.  My waist is about 33 inches, and I'm confortable in a medium.

A lot of guys in dance are slim/petite, and I have a couple of friends who buy small and have to take them in.  Then there are the larger guys who have problems with the standard male dancewear fitting their athletic body.
