Medical advice for dancers available again

written by Dr. Dancebelt  on 30.03. at 03:31:10
I was under the mistaken impression that our "DancingDoc" was the same person as "DanceDoc" who runs the injuries message board at DanceArt.com.  Since our own doc has been AWOL, I've pointed several writers in his direction.  Sorry to both for the mix-up.

Perhaps our doctor in residence will use this opportunity to give us a glimpse of his background, training, and qualifications.  DanceArt's doc is not an MD, rather a DO (doctor of osteopathic medicine).  He is also a member of IADMS (the international association of dance medicine & science).

As for me, I'm not a doctor at all (and don't play one on television).  I'm always happy to answer questions within my areas of expertise in dance, exercise physiology, kinesiology, and life, but will defer to the real experts when it comes to things that matter to your health.

Au Sante'!
