And most kids would accept it.

>I'm not a ballet dancer, but my daughter wants to be.  I don't know if it's because I love to watch ballet or not, but I think that it's a wonderful idea.  However, my son is interested in ballet also.  He told me so, but said that instead of ballet school, he would rather learn martial arts.  He's a sensitive child who just wants to be liked by the other kids his age.  His sensitivity has gotten him called a faggot/gay (wish these kids would look these words up in the dictionary and use them correctly), and he doesn't want to be called anything else hurtful.  I respect all of you male dancers, and I'm glad that you take pride in your art.  How can I help my son realize that men who dance ballet are not homosexuals?  Do I have do like Jean-Claude van Damme did, and have him take martial arts at the same time?  I'm tired of him being hurt.  I just want him to be happy, and do what he wants to do, and not worry about what the other kids think, but I can't build his self-esteem for him.  Any words of advice?
