Is it too late to start balet

written by   on 16.08. at 00:19:42
I have always enjoyed doing the splits. When I was 15 I met a girl who showed me how flexible she was and that night I thought I would see if I could even get close to the splits positiion. Of course I couldn't at first. Very determined I found that I could reach a full splits position after several months. It started feeling incredible when I would stretch and the endorfins would rush throughout my body.

I am now 35 and am extremely flexible. I tried a jazz dance class last year and made everyone in the class very jealous. Even a good dancer could not do a front splits as good as me. Front or side and even-over splits are not a problem.

Now I think I would like to try balet but am a little embarased. I actually like wearing tights but have a large unit and usually I sometimes get a hard-on when I do the splits as it feels so good. I am scared that everyone would be staring at my pants.

One other concern. I would be a beginner so I would hate to be in a class with only young teenagers. I think I would feel like an old man.

Anybody got any suggestions?
