Seems simple enough. I don't think it's simple enough, I think it's stupid! After all, dancewear is meant to be functional, so we can move! What alternative is there? There is NO alternative to dancewear for ballet, unless you suggest we dance naked! Did you ever try to dance in sweat pants? Not the easiest thing to do. These less flexible fabrics don't allow the dancer the movement they need. Sure I've used sweat pants over dancewear, for warmth, but found they quickly rip open at the places I need flexibility. What other miracle fibres could we dancers wear besides nylon, lycra, etc. I think none! Get real!
